P.RhoadesI have been a nurse for 33 years this month, and first started in the NICU nurse  29 years ago.  I worked for 11 years at St. Mary Medical Center in the NICU, then took a brief time away from the NICU to work in the CTICU at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  I returned to St. Mary’s after that for another five years where I was a supervisor in the NICU, then became the director of Children’s Services (NICU, PICU and Peds).  I left St. Mary’s in 2005 to go to Fountain Valley Regional for 1 year until 2006.  After my one year there, I came to Miller Children and Women’s Hospital in summer of 2006.  My current position is Parent Education Coordinator in the NICU.
